ceremony-locationLocations of the ceremony vary according to the type of wedding you wish to have.

Civil Marriage:  Civil Marriages take  place at the Town hall situated in the Center of the Heraklion Town. The town hall building, also known as "Logia"  is considered as one of the finest  Venetian monuments in Crete. The marriage certificate is a legal document issued by The Greek Government and is accepted internationally. Also if you wish to stay in another area of Heraklion, the ceremony takes place in the City Hall.

Vow Renewal Ceremony: A Vow renewal ceremony can be a rejuvenating and unique experience for a married couple. Most couples prefer to have the ceremony on their wedding anniversary either reaffirming their love and commitment for one another by renewing their marriage vows. This way their children, even their grandchildren can share this special day with them. Only this time, no documents are necessary.

Symbolic Ceremony: In order to avoid any bureaucracy issues some couples prefer to have a symbolic wedding. The couple gets married in their own country and has a symbolic ceremony and reception in Crete.

Orthodox Wedding: Orthodox weddings can take place in several churches. Crete has many orthodox churches in various locations all over the island.

Catholic Wedding:  All legal documents and church availability will be taken care of by your own pastor at your home town, after giving his permission and he will contact our pastor here in Crete for further details.
